Paola Zanda – Artist style #2

Giacometti has done a lot of portraits, so I chose my husband Paolo’s portrait for the second challenge.

This allowed me to perform the whole design with machine quilting without straining the hands prevented by arthritis in this long bad period.

Material:
Colicot cotton dyed in layers with acrylic colours.
Machine quilting with embroidery and sewing threads in cotton.
Wadding.
