We have a saying in Polish about doing something smoothly and perfectly – that someone “plays as with the notes”. So for the Music theme I wanted to convey this feeling of “cooking with the notes” but as in English it isn’t exactly the same I decided to create a “Piano kitchen”.

Oh this is such a fun quilt. I remember when little waking up to the sound of the kitchen music, I knew exactly what my mom was making just by listening to the sound of the rolling pin, or pots. There is definitely a lot of music in a kitchen from the whistling of the kettle to the klanking of the pots. I love how you integrated the piano in the counter top. Wonderful!
