Genevieve Guadalupe – Artist style #3

The Circle shape, in the style of Hilma af Klint.

Exploring the circle shape invites me this time to expand my vision into the cosmos. The stars, the planets, all dots in the universe, displaying their energy. The duality of sun and moon, inside and outside of us, allows this connection with the unknown, a spiritual journey in a vast universe.

Materials and technique: cotton fabric, poly thread, cotton batting, oil base ink, embroidery floss. Monoprint on fabric, machine quilted, hand embroidered.

  1. Great composition of this bright and cheerful cosmic universe!
