Bozena Wojtaszek – Nature #2

Tree

The second piece in my “Nature” series is “Tree”. It is the same landscape but I’m coming closer to the lonely tree. Just like in reality, changing distance allows us to see things in different proportions with more details and accents. Changing perspective is important to see both the whole picture and the smallest details.

Commercial and hand dyed cottons, machine applique and quilting, hand embroidery.

The idea of working on a close-up of the first quilt is really original and it will make a harmonious pair!
Nice composition by the choice of fabrics and sense of detail.
