Kibbutz field – after the harvest
Here is one more quilt inspired by Michael Kovner’s rendition of kibbutz fields in different seasons. During the many dry months of the year the color of the fields turns from yellow right after the harvest to – depending on the kind of soil – a dull beige, dark brown or orange red before they spring to life again early in the year. It is obvious that Kovner loves the changing of the seasons.

You have really captured the colour palette and I love the little pops of colour which brings the piece to life. Well done.
You have succeeded with your work in making the bucolic environment of the landscape. The choice of colours reflects Michael Kovner’s chromatic choice.Bravo!
Kovner’s palette is very well rendered, and I like how the touches of turquoise in the sky and the red of the tractor cut the monotony of the colour scheme.
Great interpretation and use of colour and agree with the previous comments.
Beautiful landscape, I love your color palette and composition. Bravo!
A nice composition and a great final of your series. I love how the red color pops up into the yellow fields.
I love that you don’t just copy but make your own version of summer fields, fusing few paintings and capturing the late summer mood. Good job!
I feel at home when I look at your work. I like very much.
