Diana Vincent – Coral

The inspiration for this quilt came from a photograph that I took of coral exposed at low tide. Because of the water it shimmered like a pale coloured rainbow. The background is hand dyed. The texture is created with expandable medium and then it was painted with Lumiere paints. Afterwards it was machine quilted to add more texture.

    Diana this has all the WOW factors and I am curious about the expandable medium, I can visualize touching it and relating the senses to the coral. Bravo
