Susan Hill – Recycle – Leaves Transformed
This quilt, “Leaves Transformed,” began with some leftover paint, clearly too good to go to waste. I collected some leaves – also abandoned – and applied paint to leaves. My workroom, which is sometimes maddeningly chaotic, gave up a piece of muslin and an odd size piece of batting, and I embarked on a sewing adventure; no expectations or rules, as I was recycling – reclaiming what would otherwise have been thrown away.
Love the printed leaves and your quilting.
Nice way to recycle the left overs, I think too much paint goes down the drain and this is a creative way to use it up.
I love your quilting. Very delicate.
Interesting echo-quilting.
I love the leaf prints and the hand quilting. A great use for leftover paints and “found” muslin.
