Diana Vincent – The Road We Travel

The Road We Travel

During our life we travel many roads. Some are straight and simple and sometimes they have a lot of curves to negotiate and this can make life difficult. Mostly we get through those curves and all is well and life carries on. Every now and again we come to a crossroad where big decisions have to be made, this can take a lot of thought and worry, but usually we make a decision, hopefully the right one, but one can never be sure of getting it right all the time. Whatever the road we take we can only do our best for others and ourselves.
Raw edge appliqué, hand stitching of lines on the roads provides the quilting.

  1. What a wonderful graphic interpretation of the theme! It makes me smile. 🙂

  2. Stunning, but then I love black and white, I think your interpretation of the different roads is very true to life. Well done.

  3. Very clever interpretation

  4. Great idea!
