Jenny’s Washing Line

My friend Jenny gave me a lovely Christmas gift of a bag of colourful bits of batik fabric.  I wanted to use them all in one piece of work to maximise their impact.  So, with the theme of ‘Lines’ for our first 15 x 15 quilt, my washing line idea took flight.  A joy to put together and I love the size, which is so ‘user-friendly’.  Hand dyed, quilted background, appliqué clothes on a string line, with added white pegs.  Wish my washing line was this colourful.
