This year our challenge is to create six quilts inspired by books. We are tasked to choose any book or genre of books on which to base the designs, with the added twist that each quilt should contain one or more words of text, as a nod to the fact that the inspiration is the written word. With such a wealth of different literature and reference works to choose from, I can see that the perhaps the hardest part of this challenge will be deciding what to choose. Whatever is chosen, I expect that there will be a fascinating variety for you to enjoy.
