Paola Zanda – Artist style #3

Alberto Giacometti’s best-known subjects are the slender figures like the walking man. I took inspiration for the new challenge from a winter photo with my long shadow. To follow Giacometti’s style, I used minimalist embroidery to give a thread-like appearance to my figures

Material:
Colicot cotton dyed in layers with acrylic colours.
Machine quilting with embroidery and sewing threads in cotton.
Wadding.
