In the second quilt in our series based on a chosen country, the topic is ‘Landscape’. Here we will base our designs on the impressions, thoughts and maybe memories, that our country evokes in us. As you can imagine, because each country is different, there will be a wide variety of designs and I am looking forward to almost a ‘textile map’ of our world.  Of course, it won’t be a conventional map (because I don’t think our quilts can ever be described as conventional), but I think that it will be a beautiful depiction of snapshots of parts of the environment around us.
