Paola Zanda – Book #2

Creation, second day.

On the second day, God the Father separates the waters: he creates the firmament and fills the sea with water. “God the Father enthroned” by Giotto is a young God I chose for the evident iconographic meaning that underlines his identity with Christ the Savior.

for the execution I used:
lutradur, fabric colours, embroidery and metallic threads, cotton wadding and cotton fabrics for the back and edges.
