Kaylene Maalste – Decay #2
Inspiration – how the dead bark and branches decay on the forest floor with fungi, moss etc eating away at the debris.
Materials – Cotton fabric, organza, novelty yarn and embroidery thread. The background fabric was scrunched by wetting and scrunching up into a ball, opened and lightly ironed.
