Bozena Wojtaszek – Book #3

For the third part of the series I continue with my readings about French cuisine. This time it is “A Pig in Provence” by Georgeanne Brennan, another American author writing about food and culture in the South part of France. I read this book many years ago but the image of a pig and Rosemary stayed with me for today.

Commercial cottons and linens, machine quilting, hand applique, hand embroidery.

I’m really surprised that French cuisine has inspired so many books, especially by Anglo-Saxon authors!
This quilt is a perfect addition to your series and I love the touch of humor it represents.

Having just returned from walking through masses of wild rosemary I really admire the way that you have stitched it! Great fabric choice and I love the fun-loving pig!

  3. I see that you stay devoted not only to the topic of food, but also to your fabric choices, 3D details, hand embroidery. Lovely piece, congratulations!

  4. I love your choice of textiles for the background, evoking feelings of being ion the kitchen with the author. The embroidery is nicley done.
