Paola Zanda – Book #1

Creation, first day.

After a difficult choice between my various books, The Book of Books: The Bible prevailed. With Genesis, the Bible’s first book, I chose Creation for my series. The world was created in six days, and six will be my works for our new challenge.

Synthetic velvet

commercial cotton fabrics

Transfer colours

Acrylic and fabric colours

Acrylic ink

embroidery and sewing threads

Techniques:

Print on fabric

Painting on fabric

Appliqué

Freehand embroidery and quilting
