Kaylene Maalste – Nature #4
Inspiration – Middleton Beach is home to the hooded plover, it is one of the smallest sea birds I have seen on the beach and they are well camouflaged among the rocks and beach grasses.
Material – Vintage 100 percent linen table runner. birds were had embroidered, small pieces of cheese cloth were used to depict breaking waves. The top was hand quilted with embroidery thread.
