Helen Hazon – Book #6

Persuasion

Inspiration – my almost lifelong love of Jane Austen’s novels.

This is Jane Austen’s final completed novel, published in 1817 after she had died.

In quilts 4-6 in my series I have adapted the first 3 design ideas, making slight changes in each new quilt. This is the second in the blue colour scheme so I have kept the diagonal theme but turned it in the opposite direction. As in the previous quilts in this series I have used hand embroidery, raw edge applique and machine stitching. The words are the names of the main characters and locations in the book.

All fabrics are cotton. Hand embroidery is in cotton and machine stitching is in rayon.
