Fifteen by Fifteen is a group of like-minded textile artists from various places throughout the world, we have come together to participate in an art quilt challenge. Our artistic styles vary, but we share a love of art quilting, the desire to learn and experiment, and most importantly share and grow. Every 8 weeks members will make a 15 x 15 inch quilt based on colour play or a theme. The results will be displayed in the Artists Gallery.-

Bella, I admire your knowledge of the Bible and your ability to express the hidden messages not only in verbal form but also visually, thank you!
The bride’s veil, white as a symbol of purity, and the pomegranate fruits of the closed garden are beautiful interpretations of the verses from the Song of Songs. As Maryte so well says, you have a deep knowledge of the Bible. There are various interpretations, but in the end, it talks about love and fidelity.
Beautiful interpretation of the scene. I love your choice of colours and composition. Your attention to details in the colours of the fruits. Bravo!
Wonderful quilt expressing your interpretation. beautiful attention to detail.
A wonderful interpretation, I love the contrast of the white veil and coloured pomegranates and apples . Beautiful stitching, well done great work.
Great interpretation of your theme ! I love how you have made the fruits !
Great choice of colors and composition. The use of the veil and fruit symbolically emphasizing the importance of love in a marriage, is well done.
Very well thought out interpretation of the text. The green background, the apples and pomegranates for the closed garden. The veil for the bride. The importance of fruitfulness symbolized by the pomegranates and the importance of love as symbolized by the veil and apples (maybe harking back Adam and Eve?). Especially love the way you made the fruit!
Lovely representation of the bridal veil to depict the words from the quotation. The pomegranate fruits add a contrast in the composition, and the stitching is beautiful. Well done
The design is a lovely illustration of the text. Great fabric choices, especially the bridal veil, and beautiful stitching.
I really like your use of high contrast fabrics. The veil is lovely.
Wonderful interpretation of the Bible text. Gorgeous veil with the lace flowers. The colors of the apples and the pomegranates are very strong and beautiful. Bravo.
I love how you did the pomegranates and apples. The veil is beautiful.
What a strong visual illustration for the chosen verses, perfect! And, if I recognize properly, pomegranates are my favorite (both visually and meaningful).
