Bozena Wojtaszek – Decay #6

Part VI of my personal diary of Decay. With the time going by, the process of decay becomes less dramatic. The sadness turns into curiosity – what new will grow on the foundation of the past…

Technique – antique and vintage fabrics, machine quilted, hand embroidered and beaded.

  1. Beautiful and moving design and great choice of fabric and techniques.

  2. Your diary of Decay has been very interesting and personal, I am delighted to see the signs of the future. Your stitching details are wonderful. Well done!

  3. I wish to see all your diary pages together, I am sure it makes a wonderful story. Your stitching and beading make great textures.

  4. I have loved your series and this is no exception. The antique and vintage fabrics give a warm and soft feel to this piece and there beading and stitching give the feel of new things to come out of the darkness. Wonderful.

  5. Your series has made a strong impression on me. All the pieces tell their own story and this is a beautiful concluding piece.

  6. A very effective piece with lovely stitched details. A good finale to your series.

  7. I love the lovely stitched details with beads and combining old fabrics in the creation.

  8. I am in awe with your series ! you used the same fabrics and though they all look different. I like the hand stitching and the beading.
