Nefertari

I chose the murals in the tomb of Nefertari. The tomb preserved in all its details. The murals and colors that have been preserved for thousands of years. Queen Nefertari was one of the most famous Egyptian queens and an iconic woman of Ancient Egypt.

She was the favorite queen of Rameses II, was buried about 3,200 years ago in the most exquisitely decorated tomb in Egypt’s Valley of the Queens. Discovered in 1904 by Italian explorer Ernesto Schiaparelli

The hieroglyphs below in this work are letters of her name and the rest are symbols and stories that prepare for her return to the world.  Resurrection of the dead.

Detail view:

A very stylish representation of the Egyptian tomb murals, which I also love. Your background reminds me of parchment and the image of the queen id perfect. What a beautiful piece

  13. I just LOVE your piece. I have an UFO with Nefertite on it, but it comes nowhere near your interpretation. Colours, appliqué, screenprinting, stitching it is all awesome.
