Black Rattlesnake

Continuing going macro in the realm of the creatures of the Sonoran desert.

Materials and technique: cotton fabrics (commercial and hand dyed), cotton batting, poly thread. machine pieced background, raw edge applique rattlesnake, machine quilted.

  12. Love how you incorporated the background fabric colors of the scorpion quilt into your snake quilt creating continuity and allowing the desert critters to stand out. Your stitching is so dense it looks like a woven art piece. Well done!
